Ponte Hotel organizes original weekend during the year. Weekends are all inclusive and range over many fields: Wellness weekend during which some experts teach the techniques to relax and manage of the anxiety; Culinary weekend, during which a chef holds lessons of local cookery. There are then the Nature weekends, dedicated to discovery the territory. All weekends also include guided visits with an Official Guide of National Park of Gargano.

WEEK-END

23/25 April: S. George: The festivity begins on the 22th afternoon. In the forenoon, after the religious celebration, the feast of the omelet is held, while in the afternoon, on the Waterfront E. Mattei, the traditional horse race takes place. The evening will be cheered up by a musical concert and terminated by pyrotechnic fires in the sea.

7/10 May: S. Mary of Merino: She is celebrated on May 9th, but the celebrations start on the 7th afternoon with musical and sporting activity; S. Maria is in fact, the Patron saint of the country. On May 9th in the morning, takes place the traditional religious procession that accompanies the Madonna from the town to Her Sanctuary, situated at 7 Km to North of Vieste. The procession is a pleasant walk along the beach and the whole journey is served by restorative points where you can pause. At the Sanctuary is celebrated a mass in the open-air, then you can pic-nic in the green surrounding area. The statue of Madonna reenters in the evening in torchlight procession, but there are numerous buses with which you can return before. The Madonna's arrival in Vieste is celebrated with pyrotechnic fires.
A concert of a very famous artist starts and after that the evening of the 10th is terminated by extraordinary pyrotechnic fires.

28/30 May: Re-evocation of Pirates disembark to Vieste: it deals with the historical re-evocation of great proportions and suggestion of the disembarkation of Pirate Dragut Rais's, happened in 1554. The party involves the whole historical center that returns back in the time for two days, animated by characters, shops and typical activity of the epoch. The disembarkation of the pirates will take place from the sea from a true galleon.

5/6 June: Cycle gathering UDACE: all the impassioned of bike will meet in Vieste for a day to the insignia of the sport and the nature.

11/13 June S. Anthony: the feast is concentrated in the 13th day and it opens with the distribution of the blessed bread. There are celebrations for the whole day and in the evening, after the musical show, there are the pyrotechnic fires.

6/10 July: IV Fair of oenogastronomic Taste and Tourism organized by the Commune of Vieste: it will surely be richer of events in comparison to the last editions, with possibility to be able to free taste products of our territory.
